As of August 1st the U.S. and China have imposed more than $34 billion worth of tariffs on each other. The US is investigating imposing tariffs on another $200 billion in Chinese goods as soon as September. China has issued an official statement saying that they will not be blackmailed and they will respond with another $60 billion in tariffs on U.S. goods.
