Fundamentals of Seed Webinar Series

During this 1-hour course you will learn basic seed industry jargon and about the journey a seed takes before it arrives at your farm. This information will help you better communicate with your seed supplier.

Seed selection is critical to your business. You will be judged on the quality of the fruits and vegetables that your farm sells. How well a plant grows depends on its genetics and the environment that it grows in. You can increase the profitability of your farm by selecting seed varieties that grow well in your specific indoor farm and meet the demands of your customers. BUT, in order to do this, you need to understand a little bit about the seed industry, what type of seeds you need, and the best practices for working with your seed supplier.
